How many apartments are available for rent at Abbey Woods?

At the completion of Abbey Woods , we will have a total of 470 apartments. Currently in Building 1, we have 5 One Bedroom Apartments, 51 Two Bedroom Apartments, and 44 Three Bedroom Apartments.

What are the qualifications to rent an apartment at Abbey Woods?

In order to rent an apartment at Abbey Woods Danbury location a rental application must be completed for each individual age eighteen (18) or over, including guarantors if required. A fee of $90.00 per application will be due prior to processing any application.

The household gross monthly income must be verifiable and meet or exceed 2.5 times the monthly rent.

Applicants must have verifiable employment and/or income history. Self-employed persons must provide a copy of the prior year’s tax return. Unemployed applicants must provide documentation regarding sources of income, e.g. – social security, pension, savings, interest, or provide a guarantor/co-signer that meets the guarantor/co-signers qualifying standards below. Copies of all documentation will be retained in the lease file.

Applicants must have a verifiable rental/mortgage history. Applicants with negative resident history- outstanding debt to an apartment community/landlord or eviction from apartment community/landlord – will be denied. Guarantors/co-signers cannot be a substitute for this requirement.

Applicants interested in apartments for rent at Abbey Woods must have a favorable credit history. Favorable credit history is no credit or more positive credit than negative. All outstanding obligations will be considered. Any applicant with an unfavorable credit history will be denied.

Guarantors/co-signers must meet all of the above qualifications and must have at least five (5) times the monthly rent of the apartment being applied for. The guarantor must physically sign the lease either in the office or in front of a notary.

Any applicants who have been determined to have criminal conviction or current indictment for possession, sale, manufacture or distribution of controlled substances, prostitution, theft, burglary, felony, fraud, or for any crimes involving firearms, weapons, or crimes against persons or property will be denied residency and occupancy. Guarantors/co-signers cannot be a substitute for this requirement.

If I choose an Abbey Woods Luxury Apartment, what kind of lease terms are available?

We currently offer 13, 18 & 24 Month Leases.

I have a pet. Are all Abbey Woods’ apartments pet-friendly or will I need to choose from specific apartments?

ALL of Abbey Woods Apartments are pet friendly.

Can I see the apartment before filing out an application?

We are currently awaiting our approval to view our model apartment however our clubhouse and amenities are completely available to see. We have a variety of floor plans you can see online and at our leasing office.

What time does the clubhouse open and close?

Our clubhouse is open 24 hours a day for all residents.

Does the outdoor pool area close at a certain time?

Hours for the pool will be 8am -9pm

What is there to do around the neighborhood?

Around our neighborhood you have access to hiking trails, great restaurants, Danbury Fair Mall, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and so many options all within a 5-10 minute drive time!

Do apartments for rent at Abbey Woods include appliances?

All your appliances are GE Energy Star, including washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator.
